Hvalstad, Norway 13 Apr 2026 – 3D perception (3DP) announces the first operational deployment of its next-generation software, WarpCore™, a real-time, IG-integrated warp and blend solution designed for high-precision, multi-projector visual systems. WarpCore now powers a newly delivered G5 Offshore Crane Simulator in Oslo, marking its first commercial deployment since launch and representing a milestone in advanced visual alignment for immersive training environments.
3D perception delivered WarpCore to the end user, Kompetansebedriften AS, as a sub-supplier to Eggshell AS, who designed and delivered the complete projection system. The simulator features a visualization setup centered around WarpCore, for zero-latency, high-precision warp & blend processing. Integrated with 3DP’s nControl software, the system provides precise auto-calibration, geometric alignment, uniformity adjustment, scenario control, and test-pattern generation. Together, WarpCore and nControl, enable the seamless merging of 11 laser LCD projectors into one unified, geometrically correct image across a novel 5.0 meter diameter Eggshell spherical screen.

“The Eggshell screens are produced using a highly automated and efficient process that can be tailored for any diameter and field of view a customer needs” said Jonas Hahn, CEO at Eggshell. “This streamlined manufacturing process also speeds up installation by eliminating the need for plastering before coating, thus saving a lot of installation time on-site. The Eggshell screens are shipped as flat packed pentagons and hexagons.”
The system was completed in January 2026 and is already in active use. 3D perception will demonstrate its WarpCore solution at ITEC 2026, 14-16 April in London, on booth K45.
