Founder & CEO
3D perception began when Mr. Krogstad led the development of the world’s first digital projector capable of warping and blending for curved-screen, multi-channel, simulator displays. Mr. Krogstad has over 20 years’ experience in the development of turn key visual display systems. Prior to founding 3D perception, Mr. Krogstad was an R&D Manager at Kongsberg Maritime. He also served as R&D Manager at Norcontrol Surveillance Systems A.S (now Kongsberg Maritime AS). Mr. Krogstad attributes the company’s success in part to the continuous improvement of 3D perception’s products, and the ability to dynamically adapt to our customer’s needs and tailor our offerings per program.
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Fagerhaug joined 3D perception in 2013. Presently, as Chief Operating Officer, he is responsible for the day-to-day administration and operation of the business. Prior to 3D perception, he served as a Product Manager at the Microsoft Development Center Norway (MDCN). Mr. Fagerhaug also served as Sergeant in the Norwegian Defence Force and has established himself as a leader in the training and simulation industry. A graduate of the Oslo College of Engineering, BI Norwegian School of Management, and Oslo and Akershus University College (HiOA) he has also received his Master’s of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University of Colorado at Boulder.
Chief Sales Officer
Mr. Mortensen joined 3DP in 2007. As Chief Sales Officer, he is responsible for setting 3DP’s organic growth strategy, including its direct and indirect sales forces and initiatives. Mr. Mortensen has more than 13 years of related sales, marketing, and strategic development experience and is a graduate of the Norwegian Air Force having studied ARFF & Airport management. His military experience includes Army technical branch where he served as technical officer. Mr. Mortensen also worked 8 years with Airport management in Avinor AS.
Executive Vice President
Mr. McCard joined 3DP in June of 2009. As Executive Vice President he is responsible for overall management of the US office, as well as management of American customer accounts. Mr. McCard has worked in the simulation industry for nearly 18 years and prior to joining 3DP, he served as Product/Marketing Manager at ETC Simulation. Mr. McCard holds a degree from the University of Central Florida’s School of Business where he studied business management, marketing intelligence, media law, and professional selling.
Business Dev Director UK
Mr. Cave joined 3D perception in November 2020. As Business Development Director UK, he is responsible for sales and technical support for the UK market. He has been in the simulation industry for a decade, and possesses a depth of experience with both commercial and military simulators. He has held positions in the industry ranging from simulator technician, simulator engineer, integration technician, project manager, sales support engineer and visual lead. He has led teams on site and run programs worldwide. He has qualifications in Project management, test and commissioning and business development. Mr. Cave originally studied aeronautical engineering and gained his qualification in 2010.
Mrs Kolderup joined 3D perception in August 2020. She has a wide range of responsibilities within SCM and Logistics; handling project procurement, import/export, the production line and warehousing. Prior to 3D perception, she studied at BI Norwegian School of Management, and served as Lead Logistics in TechnipFMC. She has more than ten years of wide experience within the Oil & Gas Industry, with complex material planning and deliveries for subsea projects.
Mr. Harmon joined 3D perception in 2021 as a Project Manager. Mr. Harmon is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and has over 17 years of experience working in the Defense Industry as both an Engineer and Project Manager. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida, a M.E. in System Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and has earned his PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
