Industry Leaders Collaborate for Knowledge Sharing and Hands-On Tech Deep-Dive
ORLANDO, Fla. Mar. 19, 2019 – 3D perception Inc. (“3DP”) will host a collaborative technology introduction and demonstration at their US headquarters in Orlando, Florida on April 2nd and 3rd, 2019. In coordination with Barco, who will be demonstrating their new FL40-4K projector, the event will introduce 3DP’s new technology, WarpSync Direct™.
WarpSync Direct is a feature enabling 3D perception’s Northstar simulation visual display solution to take advantage of the built-in warp and blend functionality within certain supported projector models, including the FL40. WarpSync Direct enables all of Northstar’s features for image autocalibration, image optimization, and scenario management, without the need for separate image processor hardware or IG-resident warp and blend software.

- Industry-leading automatic warp and blend precision
- Complete Image Generator independence
- Advanced image scaling, masking, hotspot compensation, and black level enhancement
- Advanced test pattern generation
- Scenario management for time of day, NVG, eyepoint locations, etc.

The Northstar with WarpSync Direct solutions integrated with Barco’s projection technology allow for pixel-perfect, seamless images across curved screen surfaces. The technologies are suitable for any type of training scenarios and allow transition from bright day, dawn, dusk or pitch-dark night using NVGs. Visual content at the event will be supplied by the Vital 1100 IG provided by FlightSafety International.
