3D perception wins contract with Pilatus

3D perception is delighted to announce that it has been chosen to supply its industry-recognised image processing equipment to Pilatus Aircraft Ltd of Stans, Switzerland, as part of their major contract with the Indian Air Force. Oslo-based 3DP is to supply five turn-key visual display systems that will form an integral part of Pilatus’ flight simulator deliveries for the ground-based training package to be installed at two different locations in India by May 2015. The contract with Pilatus comprises visual display systems for two Full Mission Simulator training devices and three Cockpit Procedure Trainers. The units will be used for the training of military pilots and will supplement the air-based training using the Pilatus PC-7 MkII aircraft. Knut Krogstad, 3DP CEO said: “Pilatus Aircraft Ltd is recognised as a world leader in the manufacture of pilot training aircraft and we are delighted to have been invited to work with them once again – this time on delivering their major contract to the Indian Air Force.” Pilatus Aircraft Ltd said: “We have chosen 3DP as the  supplier of the Visual Display System for the Indian Air Force simulators because they have proven to have the premium industry standard image processing equipment as well as the ability to deliver turn-key systems.”
